Villa Veldhoeve

 

Villa Veldhoeve was an old villa in Hilversum where artists, theatre makers and musicians can work independantly. As a small organisation Stichting Magdalena has committed itself to finding empty buildings that could be used as studios for artists. Events are regularly set up and serve to give broader insight and understanding to the people of Hilversum on how these locations can have a positive outcome in broadening the possiblities for artists who live here. Hilversum is a small town and does not have the same facilties for artists as in the larger cities. It is good to see how even in these small places artists bundle their energy to get recognition in their own environment. The events that are organized are fully selfcontained. Since a lot of different disciplines come together here it can lead to some interesting collaborations.
